Q & A

Useful Information

We Are Usually Asked About

How much do classes cost?

Prices vary based on the language and package sizes. Packages can be purchased for single students, or for a group to be split between group members. For standard pricing, send us a message with the language you are interested in and number of students.

Do you have group classes?

Because classes are taught at students’ preferred location and according to their availability, groups are not formed by us. However, you are welcome to form your own group, so long as all students are within the same level.

What is the class schedule?

We request two options for class schedules (if possible) and require that classes be a minimum of 1.5 hours each. The rest is up to you! Pick your days and times, and let us know how long you would like each class.

Why do classes have to be at least 1.5 hours long?

We offer classes at students’ locations, which means our teachers travel. These charges are not transferred to the students. We do ensure that each teacher will teach for a minimum of 1.5 hours, ensuring they do not spend more time traveling than they do working. If multiple students are taking the classes with the same teacher, they are welcome to schedule back to back and spend less than the 1.5 hours so long as the total amount equals or surpasses 1.5 hours. However, studies show that in order for a student to immerse themselves in the language, class duration should be a minimum of 60 minutes.

Are there any fees or charges besides the package price?

No, Language Factory, Inc. does not charge any registration, annuity, or travel fees. The price you see on your quote/invoice is the price you pay.

How long will it take me to learn the language?

This depends on a number of factors, such as:

  • how many languages speak,
  • how old you were when you learned your second language,
  • how easy it is for you to grasp a language,
  • how frequently you will be having classes (we recommend that beginners take at least two classes per week to retain their new vocabulary)
  • whether the new language belongs to the same root family as one you currently speak.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, or credit/debit cards for payment. We do offer to split payments depending on package size. Classes will start after the first payment has cleared.
